GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Organize, develop, conduct and monitor the effectiveness of all corporate wide training programs. Actively participate in providing organizational development.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide just-in-time training and team building. Conduct mandatory training such as but not limited to cultural competency and sexual harassment prevention. Research and recommend new learning solutions. Assist training coordinator and trainer to develop and conduct a variety of trainings. Provide one on one coaching to employees at all levels regarding skills such as but not limited to writing and conducting presentations. Provide career counseling. Provide change management guidance to teams and individuals. Provide performance management guidance to management and staff. Assist teams to develop interventions that will enhance productivity. Provide informal and formal coaching and mentoring to teams and individuals. Evaluate the effectiveness of training delivered and select, as well as develop, training aids. Develop strong relationships at all levels of the organization. Keep current with industry trends and requirements. Communicate with trainers from other companies, professional training groups and consultants. Design and write training manuals. Conduct needs assessments. Serve as a business training partner to all departments. May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Experience:
KEY REQUIREMENTS: Required Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, education, organizational psychology or comparable field; Masters preferred. Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and listening skills. Excellent layout, editing, proofreading and analytical skills. Demonstrated knowledge of training techniques. Ability to promote continuous learning as an organizational priority. Well organized, detail-oriented. Strong interpersonal communication skills with all levels of the organization. Ability to maintain confidential information.
